Access by car

From Joushinetsu Expressway or Shinshu Nakano IC via national road 292, onto the direction of Shiga Kogen, then turn to Ichinose and Okushiga direction at HASUIKE Branch Point, About 50 minutes from Shinshu Nakano IC.

* In winter, please take measures for not skidding on snow and ice, including using stud less winter tires and carrying chains.

* If you are coming with diesel vehicles in winter, refueling near Shiga Kogen is recommended. Keeping a full tank in cold areas makes it less likely to freeze.

Access by train

Take Nagano Dentetsu from JR Nagano Station, to the final stop “Yudanaka”, then you take bus to Okushiga Kogen to “Okushiga Kogen Hotel Stop” from Yudanaka Station.You can also take the Shiga Kogen Express bus to Okushiga Kogen from JR Nagano Station. The bus stop is at the East exit on the 3rd or 4th landing.
