NOTICE – Change in opening date and season extension of Okushiga Kogen High Cascade Park

We have changed the opening date of Okushiga Kogen High Cascade Park from Jan.27 to Feb.11. The park will be open until May 7.
It has been snowing a lot this year, and so the park would be buried in snow if we opened as originally scheduled.
We would hate to see you disappointed if the park is closed when you show.
What we decided to do is extend the park’s duration until spring, when the ride would be more enjoyable.

Renewed schedule and park locations are as follow:

Session 1 (by the 6th pair lift – same place as last year)
• Park Opening Feb.11 (Sat)
*We will have an opening party and a day camp.

Session 2 (by the 6th pair lift – same place as last year)
• Remake (changing the layout)
*We may close the park for two to three days (weekday)
Open Mar. 11 (Sat)
Close Apr. 8 (Sun)

Session 3 (by the 4th pair lift – Okushiga’s summit.
Open Apr.16 (Sat)
Close May.7 (Sun)

During those times, park entry will not cost extra if you have a valid lift pass.
The park will have courses suitable from beginners to intermediates.
We are sorry about the delay, and can’t wait to see you in February!
